God Himself Endorses The Golden Compass
It’s the number one most valuable book review of all time: A review by God, the divine creator and ruler of the Cosmos.
God has never deigned to write a book review before, but he’s done so for the book The Golden Compass, which will be out as a film in the United States within two weeks.
How did author Philip Pullman manage to get God to review his book? Well, Pullman can’t take the credit. Rather, it was the Catholic League, a right wing Christian organization run by Bill Donohue, that provoked God into action.
It seems that Donohue and the Catholic League were going around suggesting that The Golden Compass was some kind of blasphemy, and against the will of God. Unfortunately, The Catholic League never stopped to ask God himself what he thought of the book.
It turns out that God is actually a big fan of The Golden Compass, and has personally endorsed the book.
